This patch fixes two bugs in Many Faces of Go 11.0.

In April 2003, the Internet Go Server (IGS) changed its login procedure, and Many Faces of Go version 11.0 will no longer log in correctly. After appearing to log in, the command window will show lines that start with numbers, like "9 file", and the internet commands menu will be gray and unusable. In August 2006, IGS changed the output for observing games, exposing a bug in Many Faces of Go that causes it to crash when observing games. This patch updates your Many Faces of Go to be compatible with the new IGS login, and fixes the bug that causes crashes when observing games. It replaces the older 2003 patch.

• Save the patch in the same directory where you installed The Many Faces of Go. The default install directory is
  c:\Program Files\Many Faces of Go 11.0\
• This puts a file called patch11b.zip on your computer.
• Unzip the file to get patch11b.exe. You can use pkunzip from the command line, or winzip. Click here to download pkzip if you need it. Click here to get Winzip.
• Run the patch11b.exe program. It will ask you if you want to patch MFGO.EXE. Click on yes.
• When it says "Patch complete", you should be able to log in to IGS again.
